In simple words, Flashing is the process which is used to erase your phone's memory or operating system and replacing it with another. There are various flashing tools depending on device brands and chipsets. When it comes to SPD flash tool, it is the specialized flashing tool for smart devices which are assembled with Spreadtrum CPUs.Spreadtrum chipsets only compatible with the SPD flash Tool to flash PAC and/ or P5C firmware files. SPD flash tool was created by  Spreadtrum Communications Inc. who produces Spreadtrum chipsets for mobile phones to flash mobile phones with  Spreadtrum chipsets. Initially, they released the tool as  "Install SPD Flash R2.9.9005" and by now it has been updated to "SPD Tool R21.0.0001" also known as SPD Upgrade Tool. Meanwhile, Users are able to use "SPD Research Tool R21.0.0001" to avoid  "Bin Packet load error" which tend to occur while the latest SPD Flash Tool is being used.

How To Flash Stock ROM on SPD Android device

step 01: Download and install Spredtrum USB drivers on the Windows computer (Any Windows version can be used)
step 02: Download Stock ROM for your Android device
step 03:  Download SPD Flash Tool and Extract it 
step 04: Run SPD Flash Tool.exe
step 05: Switch off and Connect the device
step 06: After the device is connected, Click on the "Load Packed Button" and Add .pac File (Stock ROM)
step 07: Click “Start Downloading"
step 09: Follow the instructions and continue the flashing process
step 10: The device will reboot automatically during the flashing
step 11: After a successful flashing, a passed message in green color will appear on the tool
step 12: After the flashing is done Go to settings > About firmware > Check Firmware

Read Once

• After the flashing process, you have to write IMEI using WriteIMEI or Read&Write Tool 
• If the "Bin Packet load error" still occurs try "SPD Research Tool".But it does not compatible with ".p5c & pac.5c" file formats
• Always download the correct Stock ROM for your device
•  Since flashing is a risky task, get a complete back up before proceeding
